Meet our award-winning team
Elisabeth Baudinaud
Founder and Principal
Elisabeth is an experienced leader in policy development and community resiliency. Her dedication to advancing low-carbon construction practices has been the driving force behind the creation of Carbon Wise. Carbon Wise aims to serve as a bridge between the realities of on-the-ground construction in the industry and the imperative actions needed to meet our climate targets.
In 2022, Elisabeth spearheaded the development of the inaugural Embodied Emissions Guide for Local Governments, offering a comprehensive list of strategies tailored for municipalities in British Columbia to mitigate their embodied emissions. Furthermore, she has collaborated closely with over 20 local governments, the Step Code Council, and the Province of BC, in the implementation of the BC Energy Step Code and Zero Carbon Step Code, granting her an in-depth understanding of the intricate challenges inherent to our industry.
